We are very pleased to announce the Introduction of the New and Improved
TINY-TACH™ MODEL TT2A which replaces all three standard Tiny-Tach™ models
(1c, 2c and 4c) in one unit.
NEW FEATURES OF THE TT2A
- ADJUSTABLE to accommodate various RPM firing modes.
- FASTER UPDATE TIME - every 1/2 second vs. 2.5 seconds.
- HIGHER RPM RANGE - into the 19,000 vs. 9,000s.
- TOTAL TIME recorded in hours and minutes.
- JOB TIMER can be reset for interval tracking while total hours are
retained. This option mirrors the former reset function.
The New TT2A looks just the original - same case and coax length,
same easy installation - just wrap the red antenna wire around the spark plug
wire and ground the white wire.
New Standard TT2A - TINY TACH™
- RPM reading adjustable from 1 spark per 2 revolutions to 8 sparks per revolution. One TINY-TACH™ now works for most gas engines.
- RPM display from 1 to 19,000.
- RPM update time 1/2 second.
- Hour meter records total actual running time on your engine.
- Job timer can be reset to record run time for record keeping.
- Coax cable transmits signal without EMF interference.
- 1 Antenna cable winds around your spark plug wire to give you the RPM reading – clean and simple to attach. Signal strength can be controlled by
the antenna wire.
- Standard cable length is 6 feet. Additional length can be added at the factory for $10. If not standard, please specify total length.
- TINY-TACH™ unit is potted to prevent damage from moisture and vibration. Lithium battery life 5+ years, not replaceable.
- One year Factory warranty. Click here for warranty information.
| TT2A |
- Standard Model
- Used on engines with one spark firing on each revolution of the crankshaft.
- 1 cylinder 2 stroke (reads 1x / revolution) Briggs, Kohler and Honda type engines.
- 4 stroke with electronic ignition and no points.
- Can also be used on 2 cylinder engines where the cylinders fire 1X per revolution.
- Note 1: Engines frequently referred to as a "4 stroke" may not be a true 4-stroke because
they fire on the exhaust stroke as well.
